Janet Richardson brings more than 25 years of experience in representing healthcare companies and supporting business goals while minimizing legal risk. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional with significant experience in compliance with global data protection requirements including HIPAA.

Most recently, Janet served as Vice President, Lead Regulatory Counsel and Privacy Officer at Edwards Lifesciences, providing legal support on regulatory and quality issues and implementing global privacy programs.  Prior to Edwards, she worked in-house at other medical device companies and was a partner in the law firm of Morris, Polich & Purdy LLP.  Janet earned B.A. degrees from Northwestern University and her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
