Call for Science

For the first time, egnite is launching an open call for research ideas through an Investigator-Initiated Study (IIS) grant. We are inviting U.S.-based researchers to submit original study proposals, with the selected proposal receiving ten hours of dedicated data science support. The egnite team will conduct analyses using the egnite Registry, with the goal of submitting findings to a major cardiovascular conference.

See egnite’s most recent TCT-featured publication in JACC, led by Dr. Philippe Généreux.

The Mortality Burden of Untreated Aortic Stenosis

The Process

egnite will select one research proposal through its Investigator-Initiated Study (IIS) grant, contributing data science expertise to support the investigator-led research.

Proposals focused on descriptive analytics and survival trends will be prioritized.

How To Submit

To be considered, please complete the form on the right. The form can only be submitted once all required fields are completed. See examples below for reference:
  • The Clinical Question: What do you want to know and why does it matter?
  • Primary Hypothesis (consider the PICO framework):
    • Example: "Among patients with HFpEF, use of SGLT2 inhibitors—compared with non-use—was associated with lower readmission rates over a 12-month period."
  • Significance and Potential to Impact the Field: What would be the clinical implications if your hypothesis proves to be true?

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: March 31, 2026

We look forward to hearing your ideas and potentially partnering with you on this research! If you have further questions about the research dataset available, please reach out to Mike Dobbles, egnite's Chief Data Officer, at michael.dobbles@egnitehealth.com.
